WRONG!

A recent Washington Post piece included this quote: "What remains remarkable about the past six months is how durable the president's support has been among Republicans. Despite objectively losing almost every news cycle since he took office, Trump's approval rating among GOP voters is still at the same level in Gallup's tracking polls as George H.W. Bush and Ronald Reagan at this point in their presidencies.

Popular vote doesn't mean anything. The fact is the founding fathers made it that way to keep Major cities from controlling the nation.

As for his reelection....

Michigan --- Unemployment rate down from 5.3% to 4.2% since Trump took office.

Iowa unemployment down to 3.1%

Wisconsin... Down to 3.1%

Florida is now down to 4.3%

And that's not even the best part. That's with people returning to the work force.

Must suck to claim all of these moral victories and put them in your win column. But hey, you're an Arkanasas fan, so...

Trump's national approval ratings are south of 40%.

ALL counties in the US get to vote for POTUS not just counties Trump carried in 2016.

Trump may well keep (in 2020) most of his voters from 2016. But, wait and see how many Democrat stay at home voters turn out in 2020.

If Trump remains as it is now, he is going to lose in 2020.

I mean this seemed like a perfectly reasonable statement on the morning of November 8, 2016, as well.

Has lied about just anything and everything.

Undermines the health care act and throws everyone under the bus when it stalls.

No wall

Going after "good hombres" and not just the "bad" ones.

Thrown shade at the entire intelligence community.

Approved a Saudi / Egypt / etc blockade against Qatar.

Worsened communication and relations with nearly every ally.

So what if Trump has 54% approval in Gadsden, AL, or Livingston Parish, LA, or Waukesha, WI? Mainstream America has a very low regard for the President.

The better question will be if the Dems can run someone's America hates less than Trump. Cause that was sort of the problem last time.
