Had $100 million in write offs to get $150 million of taxable income.
Didn't realize that based on all the headlines.

Still not a billionaire according to some members of the press.

We're the write offs legal or illegal

BTW, he just finished the bankruptcy of his casinos in 2005. Not sure where there was any income to make another $100m.

Meh. Don't really care.
I actually think his taxes is an even more boring issue than it was yesterday.

Do the math on that to break it down. Roughly $500/minute and it kinda explains his so-called "short attention span".
Deciding between the Big Mac or the Quarter Pounder (and quarter pounder with or without cheese) costs him more than the burgers.

It looks like the rumors that he isn't filthy rich are incorrect.

If I had that kind of money, I can't imagine agreeing to put up with all these asshats everyday.

I admire him for making his fortune before entering politics, unlike bottom feeders such as the community organizer.

Why the 6 down votes? ??

quote:I think it's because the 102 million dollar loss claimed doesn't mean he actually made 102 million more. If it had been 250, then that would have been reported then deducted. In this case it was deducted from the 150.

I think you're misunderstanding the difference between income and net total assets.
