Is this where the media rips him for not, literally, ripping a trade agreement into small pieces of paper?

He never said he wanted to. He has always said that he wants to renegotiate it. Canada and Mexico have already come to the table to renegotiate it

Uh Oh, Did Trump let Kerry know?

The article says he will make or suggest modifications that will make it more fair for Americans, which is pretty much what I heard him say all campaign long...

So a renegotiated NAFTA isn't a new deal?

Everyone said Reagan was going to start WW3 with the Soviets when he came out of the gate with his America First agenda. Look how that turned out. The Chicoms need to realize the days of walking over the US are over. Mexico and Canada need to recognize the same.

Since Carrier kept jobs here under NAFTA in exchange for some tax deuctions maybe it isn't "the worst trade deal in US History."

But, I really find it hard to trust anything that is leaked out of the transition team. Most of it is just smoke.

Pretty sure he was never going to rip up NAFTA, even though he should.

Trump:We need to review NATO and have other members carry their weight.

MSM:OMG, Trump wants to abandon NATO and let Russia kill all of our Allies!!

Trump:I didn't say that, I said review NATO and make them carry their weight.

MSM:OMG, Trump breaks campaign promises about NATO

Same shite, different MSM lie.

He said that he'd tear it up if he couldn't renegotiate it to benefit America. If he's confident that he can get a better deal, there's no need to rip it up.

It is beyong commical how ridiculous the posters are on this board. You say Trump said something, they say he didnt, you then provide a link of him saying it and yet you get downvotes??? Lol, that is why he said he could shoot someone in broad day light and get away with it I guess.

quote:

"I'm going to tell our NAFTA partners that I intend to immediately renegotiate the terms of that agreement to get a better deal for our workers,” Trump said during remarks at an aluminum facility in Monessen, Pa., near Pittsburgh.

"And I don't mean just a little bit better, I mean a lot better," he said.

"If they do not agree to a renegotiation, then I will submit notice under Article 2205 of the NAFTA agreement that America intends to withdraw from the deal.”

Trump's remarks come on the eve of the start of the North American Leaders summit in Ottawa, Canada. U.S businesses leaders are calling on U.S., Mexican and Canadian leaders to tighten their economic ties in the wake of Britain's vote to leave the European Union.

The presumptive Republican presidential nominee also said he would kill the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal negotiated by President Obama, which is the biggest trade deal since NAFTA.

Won't go after Clinton.

Backs off strong stance against the nefarious trade deals.

Suddenly has nothing to say about the globalist conspiracy.

And people think this stuff is real. It's all nothing. None of it is authentic.

FIFY

Anyone with a lick of common sense and reading/listening comprehension understands what he's saying. It's people like you that only listen to the literal words he's saying rather than the message he's trying to convey. Too many trees in your way to see the forest.
