Trump is a child and not emotionally mature enough to just let minor things go. They are football players kneeling for the national anthem, not terrorists blowing up buildings. The fact that he gets his panties in a wad over something like this is typical of his toddler mentality. If he's not engaging in childish namecalling with his opposition, making obvious bluffs about what he is going to do if he doesn't get his way or insulting girls about their looks like a playground troublemaker, then he's obsessing over stupid shite like this. The NFL was tanking before Trump made that comment. From 2015 to 2016 there was an annual average of a -1.5 drop in ratings per game. Thus far in 2017 for the first two seasons there is an average drop of -3.4 per game from 2015.
