It was a meeting about health and migration in Africa, was it not? How does anyone even care who he had sit in for him?

Sounds like people who even take notice of something like this just want to be #outraged.

Yes. That tweet is exactly why I complain about Trump tweeting. It is just another example of him being a weak minded individual that cannot handle criticisms.

How you all celebrate this as "alpha" or whatever bullshite you all call it is beyond me.

Well, it's not the same thing. Robert Kennedy still had to be confirmed by the Senate before filling the AG role. Ivanka has to be deputized on the spot to sit at the table as a head of state. It's within the President's power, so again it's really not a huge deal, just untraditional. Truthfully, Ivanka is probably more capable than Trump is in that setting.

I'm aware. But it is a common theme here.

No one. But you said "people". I'm a person that complains about Trump tweeting.

So effective. Trump is definitely changing people's minds with these tweets. The Great Uniter.

It isn't effective if he doesn't change anyone's mind.

To be fair if any president asked their kid to do anything official I'd have an issue with it. I didn't vote for their kids or wife, I voted for them.

He's saying that because Trump's kids served such visible roles in his campaign, and they all have worked for his companies, it should have been obvious at least one would be a part of his administration. So while you didn't vote for Ivanka, you sort of did when voting for Trump. Chelsea would have likely served in some capacity in her mom's administration had she won. You sort of had to know that when you voted for her. Both families are big fans of nepotism.

This exchange was regarding Michelle Obama, not Clinton. That's why we were confused.

IMHO all powerful families become wealthy and all wealthy families in this modern age believe in paving the way for their children in any way they can -- from private primary school all the way through Grad School and paying for the first home's down payment.

These kinds of families know how to generate wealth and they know that "sink or swim" doesn't work.
