A response I received on Facebook when I asked why liberals don't market themselves as defenders of a firm, specific worldview and morals system instead of marketing themselves as vague tolerant people.
"Tolerance isn't about accepting ideas, it's about accepting people. Liberals don't judge people based off of physical, intrinsic characteristics of People such as gender and sexual orientation. It's ok to protest his (milo) speech because we aren't judging him based off of looks, only his ideas"

Liberalism is a mental illness. The twisted 'logic' with which they soothe themselves is a symptom of that illness and works like a pacifier. Don't try to understand it but, just as you would do to a kid who is too old to need a pacifier, work on taking it away from them as promptly as possible.

Do they accept people who have differing or opposing ideas than them? Because based on your friends' statement I think they should accept every person who has different ideas.
