Everyone becomes a libertarian once they lose power.

President isn't supposed to represent any group but the entire country.
Don't they have Pelosi and their Congress reps for that?

No different than now.
Liberals don't want to pay taxes.
They want to take money from others to benefit themselves.

Time going old school journalism-- revenue down? Subscriptions sinking? Write an article that pisses off half the people while exciting the other half... Profit.

I like it. Sets a very good precedent.
In related news, I should be exempt from the individual mandate and the essential coverage requirements, because I never voted for Obama.
I can also claim an exemption from taxes anytime I didn't vote for the winner.

it really is kind of crazy
i honestly would have thought they would, at least a little, start to change their tune and accept reality
im convinced many liberals are diseased and mentally ill

You choose to see what you want. There were absolutely crazy childish reactions to Obama winning. A quick google can find you a bunch of them. Im sure you won't bc it doesnt agree with your bubble paradigm
Your false equivalence is false, there wasn't a major magazine calling for 65 million people to not pay taxes.

Bestbank Tiger, I agree. I am going to tell my CPA to take a rebate on the past 8 years. Also, this explains why the Honorable Reverend Al Sharpton has not paid the $400K he owes the IRS in back taxes.

The approximately 65 million Democrats who voted for Hillary Clinton should pledge that in the future if a Republican wins the presidency with fewer votes than a Democrat for the third time in our era, we won’t pay taxes to the federal government. No taxation without representation!
Same as usual.

It's the law that you pay your taxes. But liberals are good at breaking the law. So what's the big deal?
Posted on 12/6/16 at 8:48 pm to dabigfella
Someone should let them in on the fact this is a Representative Republic, not a Democracy....

The cry, “No Taxation Without Representation,” inspired America to declare its independence in 1776. It can also lead to a rebirth of democracy in our own time.
How is it even possible for people to compare this situation to 1776? Every single person in that voted has literal representation whether their candidate won or not.

Does that mean they will not accept any benefits or earned income tax credits? This is s Democratic plan I could get behind.

Did Time's article happen to mention what line on the 1040 that is used for my refund of the last 8 years of taxes I paid my mistake since I didn't vote for Obama?

how many of those 65 million Hillary voters actually pay their taxes anyway?
1 - What % of dems pay no taxes?
2 - What % of dems pay taxes only through payroll withholding as W-2 employees (this is not optional)?
3 - The amount of Dems not included in the two above categories is very slim.
