From the Oval Office after this kook testifies.

Highlight what's happening here.

Defend this highly qualified judge.

Explain how Feinstein and Democrats sat on this allegation for months. Passing over countless opportunities to question Kavanaugh.

Huge opportunity for Trump to cement midterms over these nuts.

As a bonus....broadcast networks will not carry the address which will highlight bias.

Completely disagree, and I am a Republican. He's the worst public speaker to ever hold the office of President of the United States. He is a worse public speaker than most 15 year olds. Everything possible should be done to keep him from making national addresses other than the State of the Union. And I only excuse that one because its required in the Constitution.

ETA: I assume the down votes are the people who think that campaign rallies are national addresses

He loses the election if he doesn't do his rallies IMO.

90% of Americans aren’t paying attention. They just listen to the drive by media clips and go about their life. Narrative has been lost.

I agree with OP. Trump needs to go live from the Oval Office and lay it all out.

Ok?

Those aren't national addresses. Those are campaign events that sometimes happen to be televised. Huge difference. He is great at playing an ignorant and raucous crowd in some convention center in central Minnesota.

He is awful at giving speeches from a podium to the camera. Absolutely horrendous. Worse than Les Miles or any 13 year old girl you can think of.

ETA: And thats ok, that is not what Trump was elected to do. I am directing my comments toward the OP, as I believe that Trump speaking at all on this issue massacres Kavanaugh's chances.

He's not full if falsitudes and platitudes, like Obama, but...

His 2017 speech to a joint meeting with Congress was lauded as one of the greatest speeches ever made before that body.

I don't want Trump to talk like a politician. I want him to talk like the brash New Yorker he is and tell Americans what bullshite this whole saga is. And in his business, he is a man who has to know when he sees bullshite.

FIFY

Granted he doesn’t have the silver-tongue of Obama but you clearly have zero ability to take the pulse of America’s collective conscious because his clumsy but authentic method of speaking is a huge part of his appeal.

Are we really pretending like Trump is a good public speaker? Dear Lord. I support the guy, and have during his entire run. But he has always been horrendous at diction and giving speeches.

Apparently people on this site confuse the ability to inspire and garner support with the ability to give a speech. Donald Trump is not good at delivering prepared speeches. He speaks conversationally, is very choppy, and goes off script constantly. I honestly didn't know that there was a single person alive who would disagree with that

The sane ones.

Since you have a mental illness, it's difficult for you to understand there are sane people out there.

"by far the best speech I’ve ever heard Donald Trump give."

Kewl Chris wallace fox news link, real unbiased view.

Speech was not good, much less historic lol

ETA: Even the fox news guy gives a qualifier for a trump speech because the guy barely speaks comprehensible english
