Susan Rice just announced his home town will conduct a parade and erect a bust of him to honor his arrival back.

I have no doubt that he gave them what he knew. I'm guessing the most he knew were Company SOPs, lay out of the COP, and his limited knowledge on battle drills and weapons. The TB gain much more information about that just looking up the Ranger Handbook online. I highly doubt he knows too much about explosives and anything advanced, and hell I bet he couldn't even teach them how to plot a point.
They might have mined him for a week or two, but hell, the TB are smart - you know that. SOP's were changed instantly, and the TB would have known that, too. Guard rotations were staggered and changed, etc, etc. If they didn't already know the lay-out and weapon systems of the COP just from casual observation, then the TB were less competent than I would guess. I bet they probably viewed him as little more than a lost puppy. They probably viewed him much as the 1-501 guys did - just a pathetic and gutless loser.

Agreed. They just passed him around as a sex slave and kept him hoping to one day pull off a deal like the one that just happened.
ETA: All this talk about "Not leaving a man behind" is kinda crap. If his platoon would have found him, then no one would have ever heard of him. As an Infantryman you know the consequences of leaving your battle buddies.

According to Shep Smith on FNC the original demand was for 15 Gitmo detainees and some millions of $$. If that is true there was at least SOME negotiation.
Are we certain that money wasn't also paid. Who would you believe?

I'm 100% BHO would have asked for assurances that any money given would be used by the Taliban for food and meds only.
He shook hands on it with the Rep of the Taliban. So.....its all good. Right?

Scooter Libby - innocent until proven guilty!!!
That whole fiasco represents the most absurd abuse in the political/judicial arena since Willie Jeff got away with perjury, obstruction of justice, abuse of power, sexual harassment, and jizzing a perfectly good blue dress.

Yes - someone needs to do something about Harry Reid and that DoD spokeshag.
