Anyone who thinks that's a military uniform has never worn a military uniform.

Thoughts on Trump wearing military garb?
FWIW, The ship Captain had it custom made for Trump. Presented the hat and jacket to him and asked if he would put them on for the sailors. He donned them for the talk, then took them off as soon as he left the deck.

Given that he's morbidly obese my thought is he must have had it custom made

It's a jacket and a cap. Not a full uniform. I don't see a problem.

He's a fricking draft dodging coward! He deserves no uniform

And what are we? Panama?

He "dodged" wearing one 4 times already. Fifth times a charm I guess.

He isn't wearing a "military outfit". He is wearing a jacket and cap that anyone can buy.

W wore a flight suit and actually flew the ac that day (did not land on the carrier though).

As a veteran I see nothing wrong with what he's wearing. You make it sound like he's walking out in full battle rattle.

It's a jacket and a hat from the vessel he is on. I bet he still has on his dress slacks and shoes and not bud pants and combat boots.

Not a big deal at all.

It was given to him as a gift, and he looks good in it. If I were him, I'd wear it to the next rally.

Doesn't bother me at all. He isn't trying to represent himself as military.

It's not like he's wearing this:

Or doing this:

He was giving a speech to the Navy.

Its not a big deal.

Thoughts on wearing Commander-In-Chief gear? Overall...as well as the comparison/difference for those with vs without military experience.

What he's wearing is not even close to being a uniform.

As for military experience, I served both regular army and army national guard as a Tanker (M1IP & M1A1). Fought in the First Gulf War.
