Who can deny the erosion of America's moral foundation?

What used to be wrong is now right. What used to be right is now wrong:
Widespread pedophilia and sexual predation accepted amongst Hollywood and the social elite.
Buying and selling of human flesh, and sexual slavery.
Millions of lives ended for the sake of convenience, accepted and protected by law.
Anger and gnashing of teeth at virtue, honor and respect.
Hate and murder in the name of religion.
Lust, fornication, greed and hubris without care of consequences.
Widespread corruption at every level of government.
Selfishness and self-centeredness to the extreme.

I could go on and on.

I know these things have always been a part of this world, but in the last half-century moral decay seems to be growing exponentially.

Are we rushing headlong towards destruction? Does it seem like we are moving (being pushed) faster and faster toward a reckoning?
Does it seem there are agents for darkness at work; that there is an unseen battle between good and evil going on around us, just out of reach for our senses to detect?

People want to do something to stop this decline, but they feel powerless to change the trend.

I know many will think this is nonsense.

But I think many of you can relate, and feel the same way. I encourage those who feel as I do to persevere in hope and love, and confront evil wherever we may encounter it in our daily lives, until we drag everything into the light.

Peace.

Yes. Consider me your brother in arms...

“On The Turning Away"

On the turning away
From the pale and downtrodden
And the words they say
Which we won't understand
"Don't accept that what's happening
Is just a case of others' suffering
Or you'll find that you're joining in
The turning away"
It's a sin that somehow
Light is changing to shadow
And casting its shroud
Over all we have known
Unaware how the ranks have grown
Driven on by a heart of stone
We could find that we're all alone
In the dream of the proud
On the wings of the night
As the daytime is stirring
Where the speechless unite
In a silent accord
Using words you will find are strange
Mesmerized as they light the flame
Feel the new wind of change
On the wings of the night
No more turning away
From the weak and the weary
No more turning away
From the coldness inside
Just a world that we all must share
It's not enough just to stand and stare
Is it only a dream that there'll be
No more turning away?

The culture leftist wanted so desperately to destroy turned out to be the fabric holding society together. Single parent households are killing us. It's probably the single largest indicator of whether a child will be successful or not. Children from these homes make 1/4 less income than their counterparts, far more likely to go to prison, etc

It gets dark earlier until the winter solstice, and just to warn, most people will have to turn their clocks back an hour in a couple of weeks. Don't be alarmed that doesn't mean we must an hour of darkness in one night alone

Read some books. Incest, child sexual abuse, and all manner of exploitation were much more common at earlier times in history—at least in the West.

I will say this: I have no idea what half of your posts mean or which conspiracy is related to them, BUT I do like your optimistic bent on things.

And unlike ThinePreparedAni, your posts are easily understandable but always so miserable, even moreso than cptbengal's.

We need to go back to Bible times.

"Slaves, obey in everything those who are your earthly masters, not by way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but with sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality." Colossians 3:22-25

Much of the music of Pink Floyd speaks truth to these eternal themes...
