I don't have to. You are making the exact ridiculous argument over and over again - you did it twice in this post.

quote:

No it's most certainly not. Don't play the role of oppressed black man unless you are an actual oppressed black man,

quote:

You are also conveniently ignoring the "down with struggle" element of my post. Is Ried really concerned with oppression inspired by another dude ("Kaep") -who wouldn't know oppression if it nibbled on his arse- or is he compensating his blackness among his peers? It's no different that the idea that getting straight A's is "acting white". It's a real phenomenon and a very fair question in this context.

Again, you argument is that people who speak out against injustice have no credibility unless they experience that injustice. It's absurd. And, you do this in both realm of politics and in other areas of life.

You could start by studying logical fallacies.

You just keep fricking repeating yourself over and over. We get it.

I can't make you not ignore the shite out of my point post by post. And I'm not going to engage in some NT74 v KCT style 9 page war of attrition with you.

Well, then stop making the same absurd argument over and over again.

Nah, nothing is stopping me from pointing out his continuously making terrible arguments.

Recycling bad arguments has become a staple of this board recently.

Why not? He's free to interpret their protest any way he sees fit. Why is his opinion less than Reids?

Sure, Trump has the right to his own opinion and has the same 1st Amendment right. I do think however it is inappropriate for a president to use the power and influence of his office to pressure private organizations to punish private citizens because he doesn't agree with how they are expressing their 1st Amendment right.

any disagreement is wrong.

I don't think any disagreement is wrong. I think it's unfair to mischaracterize their protest as a protest against the flag, the military, and the country, which is exactly what the majority of those that disagree with it have done, including the president.

Eric Reid still thinks Alton Sterling was unarmed. I don't really care about his opinion.

Inappropriate =/= oppression

FWIW, I agree with your post here. But you started this thread by arguing Pence's act was oppressive, which is ridiculous.

It's ok. He's upvoting himself to compensate his lack of privilege

Systemic oppression is having one group of people, young black men, commit 13 times their proportionate share of violent crime upon the rest of the country.

One group terrorizes literally everybody in the country, but it is everybody else's fault.

According the left's absurdity, I am one severely privileged SOB.

Don't mistake my calling out poor arguments on the right with being a leftist. The American left is even more insane than the right. I just attempt to call bullshite fairly.

That's false. Your right that it is a damning statistic but it is not "oppression."

I don't think I said his act was oppressive, but if I did I agree that is ridiculous. I do think the wording and messaging from the White House is an attempt to suppress the voice of a group of people, which I do think is a form of oppression.

Eric Reid doesn't know anything about systemic oppression.

There are a lot of people in the world suffering under systemic oppression but he isn't one of them. He has said some really dumb things.

He is an embarrassment.

No matter how successful some people are, they just cannot get over the victim mentality that is bred into them.

It's learned behavior. It is taught to them b those that oppress them. There actually is oppression taking place, but it is not in the form of Mike Pence. It is in the form of Eric Reid, Barack Obama, and all the rest of these elite fricks telling certain people that failure is ok because it's not their fault. It is generational mental oppression, and it comes directly from those who claim to fight against racism.
