"That's what America is about, a land of dreams and opportunity," Carson said. "There were other immigrants who came here in the bottom of slave ships, worked even longer, even harder for less. But they too had a dream that one day their sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, great-grandsons, great-granddaughters, might pursue prosperity and happiness in this land."

Don't let TigersFan64 see the full quote, he might have another meltdown. I don't think he can handle another one today.

One of our resident lily white snowflakes better get their candy arse in this thread and explain why I should be offended.

No, this is:
quote:

FORT DODGE, Iowa. — Donald Trump went on a tirade Thursday night.

A few hours after claiming that Republican rival Ben Carson has an incurable "pathological temper" and comparing it to something else he says is incurable — "child molesting" — Trump escalated the battle, devoting over ten minutes of his rally to attacking Carson's personal narrative.

"He wrote a book and in the book, he said terrible things about himself," Trump said of Carson. "He said that he's pathological and he's got basically pathological disease ... I don't want a person that's got pathological disease."

Trump first compared the two conditions on CNN and repeated them to a 1,500-person crowd at Iowa Central Community College: "I said that if you're a child molester, a sick puppy, a child molester, there's no cure for that - there's only one cure and we don't want to talk about that cure, that's the ultimate cure. No there's two, there's death and the other thing. But if you're a child molester, there's no cure, they can't stop you. Pathological, there's no cure."

...

“Think about what Carson is saying: he hit his mother over the head with a hammer, he hit a friend in the face with a lock, he tried to kill somebody with a knife.”

Bump, people need to see how pussified democrats really are. They have been bitching for hours about Carson, and when presented with the actual quote, they vanish.

fricking cowards, every one of them. Especially TugJob and Montanagator

It's not that I think Ben Carson is a racist, I just think he's an idiot.

Why would anyone say something like that? What's lost on this entire administration is that effective management sometimes requires you to just not say certain things, even if you think they're not offensive.

There's nothing wrong with his actual quote.
