The most disgusting part is their repeated use of the focus group tested phrase:

"Won't rip the rug out from under them"

...referring to Medicade patients.

I've got 3 of the cucks saying it so far.

Is Trump one of them? Since he seems to be leading the charge.

The problem is we can't pass a full repeal or Randcare or similar without 60 votes in the senate. We have to start with a reconciliation bill that requires only a simple majority then pick Obamacare apart in phases. Ryan's bill does this.

Ryan might have other motives but I just have to trust Trump that he will do the right thing in subsequent phases of dismantling Obamacare.

They are saying that they will allow everyone to stay on expanded Medicaid (130% poverty level) that already has it and will allow those up until 2020 to get Medicaid under the current thresholds before removing the 30% expansion.

I don't agree with it, but some comsessions will need to be made to the left to pass it. Pre existing conditions (at a proposed 30% premium increase cap) coverage to 26 for kids, cap the medical expense tax break at $75k per person, and the slow phase out of expanded Medicaid are the main concessions.

If this becomes the case, Trump's seamingly fanatical cult following will suddenly turn into a fanatical angry torch and pitchfork-carrying mob. Live by populism, die by populism.

So are you saying it's a bad thing to question your polictial leaders, even if from 'your' party? The funny thing is you were trying to be smug and cute but only exposed your ignorance.

They are saying this is PHASE ONE and other PHASES will cross States lines and gut ObamaCare regs.

They have to know they won't be believed. They should have let the Freedom Caucus on board.

If they go with the Freedom Caucus approach they lose the moderates.

The Fredom Caucus doesn't have a plan that will pass the senate (60 votes).

F&%k the moderates. If the moderates oppose it, they get primaried. Many of the moderates are up for reelection in 2018. Would you like to go back to your red state and explain why you voted AGAINST repealing and replacing Obamacare after promising you would do so every year for the latter half of a decade?

I don't think the Freedom Caucus plan could garner even 50 votes in the Senate unless it somehow protects the Medicaid Expansion- that's what has Capito, Murkowski, Portman and Gardener opposed to the Trump/Ryan plan.

Additionally, Murkowski and Collins have both gone on the record as "no" votes for any replace bill that also defunds Planned Parenthood.

I see there is a limited understanding of how negotiations and deal-making really works. First you gotta have a starting point to build on... then you add things. If you start off with everything you want, then it can only be picked apart.

He's an idiot.

You don't start on the low side of your position, you start on the high side....so that when you make a concession, it isn't something you actually wanted.

Must be a fan of the Obozo Negotiation Plan

The freedom caucus plan cant pass all republicans in senate.
Would not even have simple majority. Portman Ohio and Murkowski alaska say no.

Nice details above. I was late and light.

LOL

I love it when new Proggies come here to troll the board constantly without any idea of this board's history.

The Rs here WILL criticize their leaders. They aren't blind sheep like you violent Proggies.

I also see one of the worst shills on this board already criticizing Trump supporters for criticizing Trump.

You literally can't make up the stupidity and hypocrisy that you Proggies are so willing to display on a daily basis.

Keep it up.
