Well, for one time in history Tigah in the ATL is correct. Tom Clancy said most fighter pilots never emotionally developed past the age of 8 when they could ride their bikes really fast in front of girls.
It's refreshing to see him comment on something other than his brand of raceology.

Well, I think that website is awesome.
I still completely disagree that "career military" men never have to grow up, or that scratching your balls, dipping copenhagen, or telling dick jokes reflects a lack of maturity. I also don't think that the incompatibility issues with women in the military has ANYTHING AT ALL to do with the maturity level of military men. Even though that is the go to excuse for the failed experiment of mixed gender services.

They don't know what maturity is. Most Americans definition of maturity comes from Oprah these days.

Exactly. I can see how I might feel like I never "grew up", because growing up these days consists of endless compromise, zero passion or desire for excellence, total lack of aggression and a submissive attitude. Self confidence? Immature. Alpha characteristics? Childlike behavior. Flying jets is like riding bikes in front of girls, and raiding OBL's house is just playing with toys that go boom. :rollseyes:
