So, first they arrest a Pakistani, let him go. Now a person of interest is a Tunisian asylum seeker. All checks out so far, but
Wait, what? The guy left ID papers under the fricking drivers seat of the truck.
1. That seems highly unlikely
2. Did they not search the truck before they arrested the Pakistani?
There is something strange going on with this.

Apparently it was a wallet.

Apparently you think criminals are smart.

Doesn't that seem a little too convenient, and did they not think to look under the fricking drivers seat to begin with?

The smart criminals don't get caught.

I've always found it exceedingly strange that they find photo IDs in all the attacks. Nice attacker? Conveniently left his papers in the truck. Berlin attacker? Happened to forget his wallet when he bailed out. Bataclan bombers? Hey, passports right beside their blown-apart corpses.

Probably a ruse. Supposedly, the terrorist hijacked tje truck and killed the original driver. The idea of relevant papers under the seat wouldn't make sense. But, saying this helps mask how they really obtained his identity.

It was strange from the get go.
Remember what times we are living in when it comes to the news.

Bet it was a tri fold. I hate sitting on them thick frickers.
Serious note. I heard the trucks owner and driver was found murdered in the truck? Is that correct?

another point, I doubt the guy thought he would get away, so just left his ID in the truck..

Documents found in truck, Was thinking the same thing.

The last things you want on top of mass murder charges are driving without a liscense and no proof of insurance. Makes it that much tougher for your lawyer to get you off.
Unless this is your lawyer...

I knew I left those in Berlin

yep, i was thinking the same thing....bc the last time i hijacked an 18 wheeler and played jihad frogger, i definitely made sure bring my passport, then take it out of my pocket, and put it in the said hijacked vehicle.
nothing gets in the way of a good hijacking like getting poked in the leg by your passport

i was also thinking that if i were a terrorist and wanted to get away with the crime. i would rob some other brown guy of his documents and leave his passport behind in the cab of the truck to throw the po-po off my scent...and believe me, there IS a scent!!!
