is wrong on so many levels, but those using it are too stupid to care.

Enough guns to arm an Infantry Squad includes

-Squad Automatic Weapons (M249 - illegal to purchase)
-M240 Machine Guns (illegal to purchase)
-AT4 Anti-Tank Weapons (illegal to purchase)

and in some cases, MK-19 Semiautomatic Grenade Launchers (also illegal to purchase)

And the other stuff would only be in a weapons squad of a weapons platoon, not a straight up infantry squad.

That's what my son shot when he was in the Marines. They wouldn't even let him bring it home to show me when he was on leave.

I guess they just mean number of firearms in general. But last I checked the 2nd amendment doesn't say how many guns you have a right to own.

So that means you can own as many as you want to buy

If it were true, the whole point of being able to buy enough guns to arm an infantry is exactly the point. The citizens of the United States have every right to protect themselves against the government of the United States. That's the point of the Second Amendment.

Not to mention you need Uncle Sams visa card to buy the ammo you would need to supply it.

And yes, I have one... 'cause zombies and shite.

Also doesn't say what kind you can own....something about the right not being infringed upon....yet we have all sorts of infringements. The NRA is a bunch of chucks unless they start lobbying for my right to own an armed tank.....

Don't own on but it would be fun! Does it take some "practice" to get it right?

I have a BPS that will fire every time you work the action as long as you don't let off the trigger....have a Winchester pump gun that will do the same thing occasionally...they are both straight from the factory....if these were semi- autos the action reset mechanism, either gas or recoil, could conceivably make a gun fully automatic. I also had a beretta semi auto that would, about once in a hundred shells, shoot twice with one pull of the trigger....never the third time and it always jammed on the empty.......Beretta replaced that one because it was well known....BPS's are also known to do this (as well as have safety failures). If someone figured out these guns did this they could conceivably replicate it in any semi- auto.....

The BPS will also occasionally fir one round when the action is closed and nothing near the trigger. I love the damn thing but it never leaves the safe because it is SKEERY.....and Browning had it for 3 months and said it was fine.....

Technically both are modifications to the M4.

The bump really works. A lot better than the Hell fire trigger system of the early '90's.
I bought one and enjoyed it till the ammo cost said frick that.
BURP. I think that's $5.

Ordinary military equipment as was decided in Miller. In common use and for lawful purposes as decided in Heller. Nobody has issued tanks as ordinary military equipment to any individual infantry soldier. But between those two it's pretty much assured the AR-15 isn't going anywhere and that the NFA will have a limited lifespan.

My late friend had an SKS that was worn from years of use that would auto fire on occasion. Since it was an entirely random auto firing it was an added challenge to safe plinking and target practice.

We'd always tell each other and any others that were with us: "with this gun, keep it pointed down range at all times." It would go: pop pop popopop pop poppop pop pop pop popopopop pop pop

The "you can buy enough guns to arm an infantry squad" talking point

It has been fifty years since I joined the army. At that time a squad consisted of six to twelve men. Arming a squad could be done by most of us on this message board privately if we had to.
