Yeah I think I'm going to try to check out for a bit myself. It's getting really hard to fight for a party that won't even fight for itself and besides its pretty obvious the GOPe is just the other side of the same coin with the democrats. It's a facade

While it would be nice to just bury my head in the sand, I have kids. I’ll continue to raise my kids with God first and foremost. I’ll teach them personal accountability, a strong work ethic, conservative values, etc. If I had buried my head in the sand during “the pandemic,” I may have injected my kids with a toxic clot shot. Fortunately I stayed tuned in. As much as it is disheartening, I have to stay informed because hardly anyone can be trusted these days. I owe it to my kids to keep caring and to just keep shouldering the frustrations.

We're going to minimize our spending as much as possible. Why should I spend and help these doucebags? And when I do it will unadvertised, rural, and white as much as possible. I will minimize money to Dem voters as best I can.

We still must keep voting the right way and doing the right things, even though we know that ultimate defeat is virtually certain. PERIOD.

For years, I've believed that the American Left will carry this country to whichever destination they may choose. That never stopped me from continuing to vote right and do right.

The Uniparty has me feeling like a battered wife who has finally had enough.

I love my country, and the ppl who are running it don’t love me back. They have done nothing but abuse and gaslight me in favor of drug drug addicts, race bating, and bad financial decisions.

My new plan isn’t to check out of politics. My plan is to check out of federal politics. I’m so fricking sick of lectures from the likes of McConnell/ McCarthy that they need to pretend that ppl with my values, and my interests are something to be embarrassed about. frick you. Especially you Kevin.

I was not in favor of Jeff Landry. I am now. I hope he gets elected and we alienate the rest of the country. He has a temper and pisses everyone off. I also know him. I will Work to have him elected. I will campaign for him. And help him however I can. I want him to say - drill baby drill in state waters and I hope he’s such an a-hole scorched earth to progressives that nobody wants to move here and we have horrible press and the rest of the country thinks we’re a joke. I do Not care. I hope Louisiana becomes like Vicksburg after the civil war - statewide and we’re a bunch of throwbacks who go to church every Sunday and know all our cousins and tell Transgenders they are fricking crazy.

I hope the entirety of our social politics is banning abortions and oil and gas drilling and refining and farming. And we become a closed regional society.

I want literally no part of what was selected to run our country by our betters. I want no part of the “good candidates” who can win federal elections, bc frankly they cannot - and even if they do- they just make all our problems worse.

I’m so fricking done. Legitimately- just fricking done

This is how I felt when Ron Paul opened my eyes in 2007. We were laughed at and lampooned by most Republicans.

I like your perspective on things.

I’m with you. I really don’t care anymore because quite frankly I want it to fail. I would love to see some sort of national divorce happen where we could just tell the progressives they’ve won and can enjoy the spoils of their victory. Just leave us the frick alone in our shitty gulf states where we will drill for oil and raise crops and beef cattle.

Just leave us the frick alone.

$2-3 trillion might take it over the tipping point. Inflation won't be the issue. It will be collapse; complete and total. But, that was the plan from the jump.

Well, when voting doesn’t count anymore, don’t tell me I have to keep playing the game.

Meh. I'll still vote, but I'll never vote for a candidate that support abortion or trans stuff or supports gay "marriage" being forced on the states or anything else that is clearly heretical.

If the GOP starts going down that road, then I guess I'll just be voting for people who don't.

what you really want is BALKANIZATION

where:

we all have our own AUTONOMOUS ZONES/STATES

deport all left wingers we do not want nor need them and make them stay in their shitholes and let them live/die in their own policies instead of these jackasses migrating to red states and ruining them becuse they are too fricking moronic to have learned they left states policies they voted for

you will have all lawyers, doctors, workers, CPAs etc be of the same politics as yours or GTFO.

i will gladly stay out all left wing shithole cities and states.

We all know I think Marxists are a bunch of emotionally driven imbeciles. I remained a registered Republican bc I firmly believed it was the only way to be a backstop against it. But they aren’t. They have no interest in being a backstop. They’re just interested in going to their dumb Cocktail parties.

I’m so disgusted by GOP poseurs. They’re a bunch of globalists who don’t care about the country or their home states or their hometowns. Instead- they’re embarrassed by them. They just care about their order in the pecking order in their gross political party.

They can fricking have it. I’m choosing my sweet, quirky crazy hometown.

I’m sick of catering to ppl who don’t share my values. Instead of my political party defending and advancing my internet they are lecturing me and attempting to compromise my values and my priorities to be palatable to people who don’t even have values. The election of Fetterman is rock bottom for me. Not that the Republicans could have done anything to stop Fetterman this cycle - but the fact that they refused to raise serious challenges to the corrupt PA voting laws (and in the case of GA CAPITULATED TO THEM) are what led to this.

Most of the delusional Baws on here share my values. The criticism that we live in a bubble is horseshite. The criticism that Trump is toxic and thats why we are in this boat is horseshite.

When it comes right down to it - I want what is best for my country and my state. NONE of the shite the GOP is twisting itself Into knots so we can win elections - is helping anyone and is just making things worse. Who GAF is the GOP is running something, if it’s something I dont even recognize.

Louisiana is full of crazy ppl but we’re still backwards enough that the rest of the country thinks we’re irrelevant. I’m fine with that, and frankly and oddly at the moment find it to be a blessing.

I have a friend from Charleston thst I met thru business. We had so much in common - and he told me when we first became friends that Lousiana is like SC’s country cousins. It’s really true. I feel for y’all in South Carolina bc ppl who have no connection to it move there, at least in to the coastal areas. Nobody really wants to move to Louisiana so we have maintained a lot about what makes us unique.

I’m done. I’m completely disgusted with the Republican Party. McConnell can have it.

In my case it has worked. We have nothing left but a parliament of whores. I'm gonna withdraw, fortify my position and focus on my veggie garden.

Right there with you... There is no fight in the GOP because it's no different than the Dems. Uniparty madness has lost my support for any of them. Quitting my job.. (honestly am) and not paying another dime in payroll taxes. Waiting to watch the show as the politicians and the left finally put a fork in all of us.
I deleted my discord app, truth social app and as soon as football is done, this app as well. Just gonna live my life in peace.

What will do with this extra time?

I would miss you Baws too much to leave the PoliBoard. I’m like that Aaron Lewis song. I can’t be the only one!

I’m not sure what the hell is going to happen to this country, but honestly- it’s good for the likeminded among us to communicate, and to continue to communicate about politics.

We are not wrong. We are just taken for granted. And I think that’s what has us so burned out and disgusted. I think checking out of the GOPe’s system is the only way. Even if it means not voting. They can’t win even their piece of the pie without us. So frick em.

The GOPe doesn’t hate Trump, it hates his base. We’re an embarrassment to them. They believe the Marxist press about us. Which is all demonizing propaganda. We have NOTHING to be embarrassed about or apologize for.

We built this fricking country. The greatest country that ever was. All of us Trump supporters from the pipefitters to the electricians to the doctors and the lawyers. We all did it. We didn’t complain. We paid our taxes. Raised our children and minded our own business. The GOPe tries to act like that’s something we should be ashamed about or apologize for. chasing what kind of approval, I don’t know and I do not care. There’s not a damn thing wrong with how my grandparents lived, hick accents and all.

Don’t check out of politics. Check out of national politics. Focus your political efforts on and energy on the state / local level. And vegetable gardens
