Even FDR thought it was a horrible idea.

Blow up the teachers' unions. Public schools are a disaster anyway.

Maybe so, but charter schools are so much worse. And yes, blow up the unions.

Expound.

Charter schools are often the highest rated public schools in any given area.

So you can just throw an accusation out there but he must provide proof? Typical.

I hope SCOTUS rules to allow public employees the choice of joining a union or not.

There is a law that requires people in the transportation industry to be in unions if their work groups have voted to be represented by unions. It's why airline industry employees are unionized and they don't have the option to decline membership.

The Railway Labor Act

Has that ever been challenged in court.

It also sounds like a good way to squash competition.

Just so we're clear what's going on here, the GOP is using its stolen SCOTUS seat to devastate a major source of Democratic political power.

For every time liberals and never trumpers post that stupid "But Gorsuch" meme, it's cases like this reminds them that is exactly what the election was about and why traditional republicans that didn't like Trump were willing to put up with him for a chance to save the supreme court.

This case will drive home the point that elections indeed do have consequences and dire or great ones depending on if you're on the winning side or not.

Come on bro. If you're results oriented yes charter schools outperform regular public schools. And there are essentially two reasons for this.

1. Charter schools can quickly and easily remove teachers who aren't performing

2. Charter schools do not have to accept every child who lives in the district and can quickly and easily remove those who aren't meeting standards.

Public schools on the other hand , you almost have to catch a teacher in teh act of a crime before you can fire them

and every student gets a seat no matter how pitiful of a student they are .

You're daft and deliberately obtuse. It isn't hard evidence to find.

A local example, one among many nationwide, is Haas-Hall Academy, open charter.

Even in Fayetteville and Northwest Arkansas, which generally has highly-rated, exemplary public schools, a charter school kicks all their asses.
