Maybe some of them were medical tourists coming to get the best healthcare in the world, but OBAMA ruined it?

BINGO!!!

Why should we keep doing this? As a nation, it is an economic death sentence.

Thus, the prestigious Travel Weekly magazine (as close to an “official” travel publication as they come) has set the decline in foreign tourism at 6.8%

Not seeing this quantification. Must not be very prestigious. 6.8% decline in what? Over what time period? Why are you quoting a 3rd grade writer with an agenda?

Here's another blatant lie regarding the article. Over 90% of this decline is from european countries.

Which trump POLICY is to blame for that? Is he supposed to feel bad that european pussies don't like his views?

The real truth is that all the numbers/stats before the election were padded by Democrat bureaucrats...now the real numbers are being reported...the world economy has in fact contracting for a long time, but all the central banks have been propping up the system, hoping that China and Russia will yell uncle first...China has created 28 trillion worth of credit over a relatively short period of time trying to stave off a total collapse and civil war...the Chicom army is now said to be running the show behind the scenes more so than before...you snowflakes had better go find you some big boy pants somewhere cause it's about to get tough...

I don't click on Toddy links and he is disingenuous by nature.

Question: what time period is the context of this decline? Are we talking January? 1Q? Is this decline in comparison to last January? Last 1Q? Is it based on future yearly projection and compared to last year?

Data can be easily manipulated by someone with an agenda.

So Trump is making sites like the Grand Canyon and Glacier National Park less spectacular?

There is literally no proof this has anything to do with Trump.

But let's say it did. Paris has had a huge decline in tourism due to the Muslim refugee influx.

Maybe the people scared to come here need to go there and help them out.

Another montana democrat on the poliboard.

How is it possible that arkansas and montana have more lib posters than conservative posters on here when the states went almost 70% of the don-man himself?

No. I think the gist is that he's making it a less welcoming place.

You don't want wealthy tourists coming on holiday here? It might not affect you, but it most certainly will affect many Americans and the businesses that rely on tourism.

Did you worry about small businesses when the cost of insurance under the affordable care act was destroying them?

So you're positive it has absolutely NOTHING to do with the really really strong dollar relative to the recent past

Yep.

I expected so much more out of one of the figures from Eurotrip. No data was given to support that travel is down from a year ago--indicating seasonality, or travel was down due from different regions of the globe due to specific reasons. All in all, an article with a really bad premise that shouldn't be considered newsworthy.
