I have a peer from another company that I work with that put his house on the market in L.A. soon as the election was called for Biden, loaded up his wife and bought a plot outside Nashville and got a rental. In less than a month he sold his house, moved to N’ville, and broke ground.

He’s conservative AF though, so a net positive for y’all. He just saw Biden’s election as writing on the wall for what’s coming down the pipe in CA.

Had a open house a few weeks ago here in Franklin. We had 120 people come through the door, maybe 25% were local. We had 15 offers day 1, went way above asking, winning offer was all cash from California waived all inspections and appraisal.

It’s unreal here right now.

ATL has not been a southern town for a long time. It's a shame.

Austin's inventory went to under a month recently. Insane.

Any house offered in the 3-500s goes 40k minimum over ask. One house recently had 100 offers.

Even when Austin was "hot" it was 2 months inventory and not like that.

Lefists moving in are still a problem.

1/3 of the "breeders" will vote more conservative. 100% of the leftists will vote leftist.

Have you ever ridden around DFW and looked at the areas where you can tell from the buildings that they used to be OK at least but now they are nowhere you would every want to go.

2/3rds of a few million is a lot bigger problem than 100% of a few 10s of thousands.

here in Texas the immigrant’s (legal or not) children (who are citizens) coming of voting age is by far the biggest factor. Obviously all the leftist flocking in aren’t helping.

Shopping in Nash right now, but I'm competing against all cash offers from CA.

Some are people planning to move, but a lot are CA people looking for investment properties for AirBnb, vrbo, etc.

The problem is the majority of those moving here prefer the NBA to College Football.

Aw man. That’s my second home. I’m a patient at Sarah Cannon. Martin’s BBQ on my mind.

Pretty sure most of the mayors of the metro cities are Dems. Our DA in Htown is a Dem and our mayor is also (an idiot) Dem.

I don't understand how Kim Ogg got re-elected! Between her and Dora, all they are known for is releasing felons and failing to prosecute! Oh, of course, Houston is a 'sanctuary city' thanks to Sylvester! Also embarrassing to say that Shelia Jac is my Congresswoman! The District is set up with a majority minority base, so no chance of getting her out of office, the fools keep voting her back in!!

Too late. Unless we secede soon, Californian carpetbaggers are taking over the state, driving up taxes, property values, and drug use.

Austin even in raw numbers isn't a top Texas growth. Houston grew by 1,118,905 in that period.

Hell, in 2014 and 2015 Houston was growing by over 14,000 people a month. That is adding a Zachary every freaking month for two years...

Another way to look at it is between 2014 and 2015 Houston added the population of New Orleans.

That math doesn’t add up, so let me mansplain this.

Houston loves to annex outlying communities. And that’s where their growth comes from.
