I like Scalise but him being government would require him surrendering the Majority Whip position which gives Louisiana a leadership position in the US Congress. Bad idea.
Maybe Jeff Landry or Charles Boustany? My wife said as long as it’s not anyone from North Louisiana

Landry's coonass schtick would not play well outside of Acadiana and Houma
Not only did he win a statewide election at the same time as JBE, but he beat an incumbent for the office

I'll toss my hat in the ring.

And a fellow republican at that too.
Remember the state GOP actually endorsed Jeff Landry over incumbent Buddy Caldwell. They never do that.
Sure Jeff Landry is not my first choice as he's not someone I want to risk a second term of JBE on but conservatives acting like he's beneath them have no room to talk when they're big time supporters of a Trump who's basically a Yankee Billionaire version of Jeff landry.
We have a moron with no concept of money and a budget in charge of this poor and broke as shite state and getting rid of him has to be priority number one.

Rrpublicans lose election after election becsuse they want every candidate to pass some imagined litmus test.
Folks there was only one Ronald Reagan.

No one but lawyers cared about that race

They've been winning quite a few lately, JBE notwithstanding.

I get what you are talking about in that Republicans still pine for the Gipper and that he was somehow the ultimate conservative....he was not. Reagan was a pragmatic politcian with a conservative bent. He could not survive in today's Republican "conservofest". He would be treated like John Kasich

The incumbent AG getting his shite pushed in by another republican doesn't happen for a lack of interest dude.

And every republican that has even the tiniest whiff of support from JBE usually lost his race. That's not a very good omen for him.

It actually does happen due to a lack of interest, specifically Caldwell's in campaigning
Glad you approve of our attorney general who has never been in a court room
I'll bet you liked to post about Obama's lack of a work record as well

I like Strain for Governor. Not the sexy choice, but smart, folksy, conservative, and gets shite done.

And also a lot of interest in the State GOP endorsing his opponent and some very effective ads that moved the needle against him.

Wait, you actually voted for Buddy Caldwell?
No wonder why you play devils advocate to defend ambulance chasers in this state.

Did you make that same argument for Trump against Hillary as well if we're going off of experience too?
