I'm not arguing against the case that it's a factual report, I'm merely remarking upon the complete blind partisan agenda that permeates the site.

I've seen them print opinions from all sides - and it IS an opinion site.

Again, which of the facts are you disputing? If none, then why isn't it as good a source as any you will propose?

Do you consider Michael Moynihan to be a blind partisan hack?

Bush wasn't an incompetent buffoon, who has made America look like fools to the rest of the world.

We have Iraq falling ti AlQada within weeks if not days because this fool didn't arange a status of forces deal.

We have terrorist with surrface to air missels we gave the terrorist in Benghazi.

We have 120,000 kids crossing the border because this fool and Democrats have decided to screw America for political gain, depressed wages, jobs going to illegals instead of Americans, foodstamps and welfare to illegals.

This POS has one goal in mind, to destroy America from wirhin.

None. Unless you care to point out where I stated the statements in the OP were categorically false.

You just stated that, and I quote, "it IS an opinion site." So why are you trying to counter my statement regarding its poor journalistic qualities by challenging my ability to discern reporting facts vs. demagogic chest-beating, attacks of character, gotcha's and I-told-ya-so's?

It really is comical. Bush is the worst person ever to most leftists, yet here they are defending Obama by saying that Bush did the same thing. What a wreck this administration is.

I'm defending nothing. I'm simply calling out the dishonest folk who are acting as if Obama breached some sacred code of "not bargaining with terrorists".

Just seems an odd thing to attack the source when you don't dispute the facts. Adults have the ability to ignore the noise and focus on the facts. I took you for an adult.

I'm still amazed at how insane people have gone.

I believe the OP just wants the argument from the right that "we don't negotiate with terrorists" as some sort of Obama issue to be answered. Attack the Bergdahl swap on other grounds.

Further, the Taliban in Afghanistan were simply the ruling party when we invaded, NOT a recognized terrorist organization. They still aren't.

Can't be much more pithy than this. Unfortunately, simple honesty is not in the cards for the insane.

Can we have you on record for faulting GWB on the sacred "date" he gave for leaving Iraq?

You sir, chose a proper name for this board.

Does anyone think that SEC Crazy's posts should at least warrant an investigation into his mental capacity?

The hilarious thing is that illegal Mexican immigration has plunged while Obama has been president.

That's what happens when the economy is bad. You can't seriously be making the argument that Obama has been a good immigration president, can you? What has he done to bolster the border/secure the border?

Did the left mind or make comments about Bush's deal?

This is the situation our political system has devolved into.

Democrat is criticized - "Republican did it before and no one said anything."

Republican is criticized - "Democrat did it before and no one said anything."

It is sad.

And OP, I'm sure you criticized or supported both actions equally, correct? (Really a useless question considering that there is no way to verify whatever your answer is.)

Considering that at the time of the previous situation I was only 13 and paid no attention to politics, this thread really has nothing to with me. Oh well.

Nothing. But the insane one is arguing that he has increased Mexican immigration.

Not to my knowledge. Did they?

I actually don't necessarily have a problem with either. Of course, that means I don't have to pretend that I am in possession of facts which I am not in possession of.

Nobody really takes S.EC. crazy seriously. He may even be a liberal troll taking on the stereotypical tea party persona.

Wow, $300k. Cash payment vs 5 Taliban big wigs. This is your "Bush did it too" comparison?

Face it, Obama is Bush on steroids. All the same intrusions and spending, but bigger and better!

No clue. I was 13 at the time.

Also, considering the differences in the two cases, $300k vs 5 individuals, being against one and having no issues with the other isn't really hypocritical.

I don't find the trades to be of equal value.

Bush negotiated with terrorists (and got one of the Americans killed in the deal). Obama has evidently negotiated with terrorists. Let's stop pretending that there is some sacrosanct rule about not negotiating with terrorists. And, again, the Taliban are not even on the US terrorist list.

Two problems with your logic Big Scrub:

1. You're comparing Obama to W. Everyone but the most die hard right wingers admits W's presidency was a clusterfrick.

2. 300 grand != 5 big time warlords

I admit it is disappointing how much this issue has been politicized.

So you're using Bush as the standard you judge Obama. Interesting.
