I can tell you from being a part of both storms and having family members who requested FEMA. They are handling thing 10x better than Katrina. Not only are they quick with response but are vetting every claim instead of every Tom, Dick and Harry walk off with thousands tax payer dollars.
BROVO to FEMA for their response so far and making sure those who need it get it and those others will not take advantage.

I think the federal response has been good so far. If it's true that only 30 people have died so far, that's better than I would have expected with the country's 4th largest city flooded (not trying to downplay the loss of life)

He's an asshat. I had to deal with him at Ft Hood when he was a 1 star in 1st CAV. He was pissed because we had a few deadlined M1A1 HC Abrams tanks due to the forward mod on the turbine engine. Luckily none were in my platoon.
He had no clue that when you don't get us good precleaners, we are going to blow turbine engines. Just wanted to tell and cuss.
