Said the federal response and federal preparedness has been pathetic compared to Katrina. He chastised the state officials about "patting themselves on the back". I thought everything was going smoothly? Maybe because the scale of this is so much larger?

A trillion gallons (literally) of water hit Harris county alone in 4 days. The Federal emergency response system isn't built for that.

Gotcha. You should probably clarify that in the OP. I'm sure there will be a YT clip of the interview sometime soon.

Hard to have a discussion about something without having anything to read or watch.

Obviously a source that seems to feel guilty about his role in Katrina.

The Fed and State response has been good. So has the civilian response. Probably due to learning from the mistakes made during Katrina. Completely hate that both of these tragedies occurred but, one has definitely affected the other in a positive way.
