The Real Reason for the Recounts...

The reason behind the Recounts is NOT because they think they were hacked.
The reason behind the recounts is NOT because they think the results will be different.
The reason behind the recounts IS BECAUSE if they are successful in getting them AND holding the up/delaying them in court they can cause the Electoral votes to NOT be counted when the Electoral College meets to vote.
IF those 3 States can be excluded it Gives the Election to Hillary.
Jill Stein is asking for recounts in an effort to nullify the electoral votes of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
Federal law says that presidential recounts must be completed within 35 days after an election. Stein waited until 90 minutes before the Wisconsin deadline for filing a recount petition expired.
All the votes have to be certified by December 13 according to a report on Friday. The electors meet on December 19.
Wisconsin's last recount took more than a month. And that recount was for a state Supreme Court contest where only 1.5 million votes were cast.
If Wisconsin misses the December 19 deadline, the electoral votes will not be counted.
Stein asked for a hand recount, which will slow the process even further. And will sue if they don't give it to her.
If Wisconsin’s electoral votes are excluded on December 19, the state will then have to try and get Congress to include the votes in the January 6 count.
If the proposed Wisconsin recount is not completed on time, the state’s 10 Electoral College votes could be rendered void. In that scenario, Trump would be left with 296 electoral votes, which is still 26 more than the 270 needed to win the presidency.
But two other states, Michigan and Pennsylvania, where Stein has demanded a recount would be enough to overturn the election.
Pennsylvania has refused the recount and Stein is suing.

The last I heard is she will go to Federal court to attempt to get them to force a recount without having to pay the $1 million dollar bond.
These people are trying to steal our way of life. They won't give up easy.

If neither candidate reaches 270, the house of reps decide the election. Trump is still president.

Yea, the election isn't going to HRC. If neither candidate gets to 270, then it goes to the house. We don't just simply act as if the states of Wis, PA, & MI don't exist.

I went and looked at that lady's Twitter feed for the first time. She is seriously bat shite crazy. You'd think she won the popular vote and lost to Trump in the EC based off her ramblings.

If they somehow stole the thing I don't believe they know what would be coming. I would be for one, headed for Washington to throw the bums out along with no telling how many other angry patriots.

If those 3 states are void there will not be 538 available votes that they are competing for, there would be 492. Trump will be under 270 but still ahead of Hillary. The election goes to who has the most electoral votes not who hits 270 correct? 270 is just the Mark we use because it is over half of available electoral votes.
538 - voided MI, WI, and PA = 492
Mark to win majority of 492 possible electoral votes is 247.
Trump would have 260 to Hillary's 232
Hillary would need take his votes not void them to win the election

Looking more in to her past, she's run for a major elected office position 6 times now and never won. Twice for president and four times for state offices in Massachusetts. The only time she has ever won an elected office election was for a Town of Lexington Town Meeting Representative position.
So someone with no history of winning is losing again. Not surprising based on history.

Exactly. I said the same thing in the other thread. 270 is a majority of the EXPECTED electoral votes cast. If some states can't get their votes certified for whatever reason or simply don't vote, then the 538 denominator changes and so does the majority number (usually 270).

Stein was just on Fox New Sunday with Chris Wallace. She came across as a total nut job, practically shouting over Chris Wallace's rebuttal questions without really directly answering any. When challenged on why she did not challenge NH, she said they deadline had passed. When challenged about the million dollar bond request in PA which she already had raised, she muttered something about that coming from the electorate.
