He and the Dems are now targeting the elderly! Why are they trying to end programs like meals on wheels?

Lol yes where Bernie and his comrades get to decide what is 'fair'. How could anything go wrong?

But he's for "equality" and "tolerance" and everyone getting their "fair share". He's not about making the US better for everyone. He's for turning everyone into a number that mindlessly relies on the Federal government and worships the collective.

You write that as thought that were some kind of a bad thing.

The country does not fall apart it becomes stronger and more united as we stand shoulder to shoulder with each other.

The United States, or anywhere for that matter, will never be a completely equal and 100% tolerant place. It is against everything in human nature for it to occur.

Trying to remedy this by everyone relying on the Federal government for everything in life is a communist's dream.

Although I assume you are a communist so I guess you love all that talk.

Sounds good to me!

It's all about control. Socialists want to control the economy and dole out the money in a way that they deem equal and fair.

It might even work for a little while, but when the economy goes into the crapper because there is no incentive to be successful, the natives will get restless. That's when the dissenters need to be jailed or made to disappear...

That actually sounds like it could be a direct quote from Lenin...

Do us a favor and don't procreate ... and, I realize that it's a big assumption that you actually can.

This is some juvenile way of thinking. Seriously. Bernie Sanders is somehow going to unite the US in some great sweeping social revolution? The Russians did that too and killed millions.

None of the bullshite that the left likes to spew and none of the shite Sanders likes to spew is A. Feasible or B. Moral.

It's evil and it doesn't work. I don't want to stand shoulder to shoulder to someone who is fully benefitting from me getting the shite taxed out of me while I get absolutely nothing. I'd take up arms before full socialism is institutionalized in this country.

Agreed, and I felt this way during the primaries. His Socialist views would have destroyed the economy, ruined the middle class, and turned America into a third world country. He is not a nice guy, his condescending smirk is sickening, and he had no details of his plans, just extremely vague statements that had absolutely no possibility of implementing in reality. His fix for everything was 'taxing millionaires and billionaires'

Problem with that is that the middle class ends up getting taxed the most. I just pray no one else younger comes along with similar views.

Also mind you that Trump voters have been told repeatedly over the past 4-5 months that America doesn't want anything to do with them. So this is patently a lie.

just a thought, and not flaming. obviously those are not built into american law as it is. we can argue that's correct/right/wrong whatever, but currently America is not made for that. we would (and have, had to) make new laws that directly change how we do economy as a nation.

i don't mean it in a hateful way, but if that's your preference of doing government, why not move to somewhere to embraces that as a society, instead of changing America to reflect that?

When will these idiots take some basic economics classes and learn that the government cannot control a person's economic value. Sure, you can raise the minimum wage to as high a number as you like, but that changes nothing in the long run. If a person has minimum wage skills, then they will earn only a subsistence wage. If you decide to make minimum wage $150 an hour, then the market will shift so that $150 an hour becomes a subsistence wage, and everyone else's wages will shift as well. The middle class will become millionaires, and the rich will become trillionaires, but everyone's relative purchasing power will remain the same because a gallon of gas will cost $150, and rent for an apartment will soar into the tens of thousands a month.

The only way to try to do it is total wage control combined with strict control of the money supply, but that has never worked, ever. But hey, why not try it here! Ugh, the Soviets won after all.

Bernie is a pretty lonely 75 year old in the Senate from Vermont who will probably never be president. He had his shot, and lost.

Yes but he's brought about a new wave of socialist policies that many people are actually buying into. That's the scary part.

Said it from the get go...Bernie Sanders was the biggest threat from the Democratic Party, not HRC. He needs to kept as far away from a presidential campaign as possible.

I'm just saying we can't treat Bernie like some cute little socialist these days. He has real, widespread support which is scary.

If Trump can pull off half of what his goals are, clowns like Sanders will just sound like dumb throwbacks to threadbare ideologies and beliefs. Like the gullible minions that still believe in global warming, there will always be the true believers, but people will mostly rush past them somewhat embarrassed that they ever fell for their crap world views and beliefs.
