It is a bad example. But demographers are saying Gen Z is going to be very politically incorrect.

The Oregon Trail generation will be running things in a few years and we'll get this shite back in order.

When did generation x end? Anyone know? I've seen different dates depending on where you look? Born in 80, do you consider that generation x? Some places on the net say yes, some say no.

Of course. The next generation always rebels against the status quo.

60/70s - peace and free love and drugs and everyone just chill, man

80s - ruthless corporate greed, stressful hatred for everyone, all drugs except coke and alcohol are bad. You have to go to college and then get a serious job and not be happy

90s - relax. Stress is dumb. Everyone just be goofy. Go to clown College or get a piercing in your penis.

00s/10s - SJW madness, complete political correctness, perpetual outrage over everything, we must cater to everyone's feelings no matter how small or unreasonable, expanse of federal government

It only stands to reason that the late 20s/30s will be all about irreverence, lack of empathy, and conservative government.

The government will be run on meager rations and a grueling pace.

Half of DC will die of either typhoid or dysentery and we will Ford every river.

Not as bad as 30 year olds that act like they aren't millenials right?

I was born in 1982 and for some reason they say I'm a millenial. Makes no sense.

I'm 32 and don't really identify myself with the millennials. generation Y (millennials) ranges from the early 80s until the mid 90s for birth years. Personally I feel that there is a vast difference in the overall ideallogy of someone born in the early 80s compared to someone born in the mid 90s. It's pretty clear if you've ever been on a college campus in the late 90s, when the first of the millennials were attending, and compare those to the average person roaming a college campus in the last 5 years.

Or maybe it's more of a "how you were raised" thing, but I certainly was not raised to believe in the entitlements that the 20s crowd advocates for today or the whining they do every time they decide something is offensive.

There were certainly your typical liberals as are present on any college campus when I attended in the early 00s, but it feels like that is far more the norm today for extreme liberalism.

No doubt. A couple years ago I probably wouldn't have even looked twice at a tranny in public. Now I want them to be ridiculed just because of SJWs

Me either. We are just on the opposite side of the age range but don't want to be a millennial. I believe it's more ideal based than age based as well.

Damn right.

Went to a conference this year on college admissions

This year's high school senior class is the last of the millennials. The Class of 2K19 and beyond are going to be more conservative and will be turned off by things like transgender bathrooms and safe spaces.

Ohio State and Oklahoma Baptist, two schools that had very public anti-safe space moments are seeing record interest from this years juniors.

Different sociologists are going to say different things, but I tend to think Generation X were those born between the Kennedy assassination and Reagan's re-election.

Millennials Reagan's Re-election and 9/11 attacks.

Gen Z 9/11 thru Trump

Generations tend to end/begin at big political turns

Civil Rights
Ending of Cold War
9/11
Obama/Trump

You should cry about it. It was a huge overreach by the powers that be. You do not disqualify a team for hurting someones feelings. This is how you make people weak and everyone gets a trophy.

I would beat my kid and punish them, but would not take away a chance they earned.

I didn't know anything about this story until this thread.

I have zero problem with this team being kicked out of the tourney. Part of playing sports is learning to be a good sport.

You have to teach ALL the lessons, not just the ones you want to teach.

To me this isn't the group of girls who is going to rally against the liberal bullshite of their parents anway. To me it's the girl who got her arse kicked by a "trans gender" in the girl's wrestling competition, or the girls who lost to a basketball team that had a 6'5" 240 lb trans gender and etc etc who are going to flip the script when they get a chance.

Each generation rebels against the last.
I would say the generation generally rebels against the generation before the last (e.g., millenials v. baby boomers), since they are more likely to be their parents.
