quote:So it's ok to totally disrespect an individual vet personally for his service? I guess so, since Trump did it, huh? What a role model.
He was probably drafted and fighting simply to not die.

The Indoctrinated Person will accept and defend any absurdity presented by Leftist ideology or the practice thereof.

Honestly, I can see someone having issue with the Pledge of Allegiance, because what if the government goes tyranical and we have to take it back. A pledge from your average citizen I think debatably stands against what the founding fathers stood for.
But the National Anthem, get the frick out of here. That song is all about American ideals and how this country is fricking awesome. Every American should defend the American dream and defend it in case the government goes tyranical or there's some sort of coup.

The implication was that simply because someone fought, they fought for the flag.
It depends on who's perspective you are looking from as well as your overall view on the world.
I'd argue no one in Vietnam was in actuality fighting for our interests. It was a shitty war that we had no business in.
Now, your average farm boy was probably fighting for his country and doing his duty. Nothing wrong with that. Lots of people were just fighting because they were thrown into a life or death situation at the behest of the state.
Hell, even in more recent history, people fight because they want free college. I'll not assume every single service member is your typical jingoistic supporter of all things Americana nor will I assume our military presence is always pure and just. The true red pill and it's a very unpopular stance.

because racial injustice didn't end with slavery. It is still ongoing in our country today
I would really like to see this rampant racial injustice that is still ongoing in this country.

is somehow divisive. Yet, disrespecting the flag isnt. Thats the left for you. Biggest bunch of hypocrites out there.
Fair enough, but you don't have to worry about that now that Trump has told you to stop watching football. Simply don't watch anymore and leave football to the Democrats.
