The Left explains the real reason why they lost the midterm elections

According to the Left, this is the real reason they lost the midterm elections.

While we knew that requirements like mandatory voter ID at the polls was going to be a massive problem for minority, elderly, poor, women recently married or divorced, or college students trying to vote in their home states, what no one could have predicted was how much these voter ID laws impacted states where there were actually no such rules on the books. Instead, polling officials were often caught trying to enforce voter ID restrictions on those casting ballots in states without any laws.

Waahhhhhhh!!!!!
I wonder if they complain this much about ID laws when collecting their welfare checks.

There's your answer. Until all states pass some kind of picture id law, this will continue to happen, right or wrong.

Warren Buffet probably has his welfare check mailed to his house...
The rest of the freeloading Democrats probably do the same.

There is no reason to complain about Id laws anyway. Every possible concession has been made to allow anyone who needs one to get one.
public transportation
waived fees
extended hours
If people would spend less time barking about it and more time following the law they'd end up with some free time on their hands.

[quote]ACLU of Arkansas saw enough instances of this occurring at the voting booth that they had to send out a Facebook message letting voters know that they shouldn’t be intimidated by poll workers asking for ID.
The horrible things we do in this country to our own citizens.
Asking people for a ID to vote...its like ISIS has landed on our shores.

No one from the left of any prominence with debunk that article. Just like no one from the left slammed Mary Landrieu for her race and sex baiting comments.

Let me try this canned response I learned from Vegas: There is no evidence that voter ID laws changed the outcome of any election.
Yep, it works.
Also, it's not like this election snuck up on us. If you needed a new photo ID, you had plenty of time to obtain one.

How can you speculate on such a thing where there is absolutely no evidence to quantify any sort of numbers?

Have a friend who works in the local Voting Registrars office. She says they are not allowed to inquire about citizenship when someone comes in to register to vote. Picture ID'S will mean little until we require proof of citizenship in order to register to vote.

Where there's one there's a million.
This is the first Loony Lefty to spout the Left's talking points explaining why they really lost the midterm elections.
There will be more Loony Lefties spouting it in the future in their attempt to cover up the real reasons why they lost.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi asked her fellow Democrats to keep her on as their leader in the new Congress next year, saying she still has unfinished goals she wants to accomplish. She said the chief message she took from Tuesday’s election, which saw Democrats eviscerated at all levels, is that voter suppression was a problem.
“To succeed, we must inspire, educate and remove obstacles to participation. Only by changing our political environment and broadening the universe of the electorate can we build a strong sense of community and an economy that works for everyone,” she said.

If this were really a problem, there would be countless cell phone youtube videos of people being turned away at the polls for lack of ID to illustrate just how many people the statutes affect. Where are those videos?
