If you want to permanently fix America’s economy, there really is no other choice. Even before Ron Paul’s rallying cry of “End The Fed” shook America during the peak of the Tea Party movement, I was a huge advocate of shutting down the Federal Reserve. Because no matter how hard we try to patch it up otherwise, the truth is that our debt-based financial system has been fundamentally flawed from the very beginning, and the Federal Reserve is the very heart of that system. The following is a free preview of an upcoming book that I am working on about how to turn this country is a more positive direction…

Remember Thomas Jefferson refused to let the new U.S. borrow any money. Remember the old civics they used to teach.

gn, I don't agree with everything you say.
And I know you despise my maroon kind.
But I couldn't agree with you more re: The Fed.
Distorted interest rates and over-regulation of the financial sector is the bane of our economic existence.

They didn't teach my generation that (I had hs civics in '05-'06) but I did learn about in an upper level Am history class in college.

The Fed must go. Due to our current system, there will always be more debt in existence than currency. The entire thing is created to separate money from hard working individuals and put it into the hands of the banks. That all starts with the Federal Reserve. Between bond interest and bank credit, they run the show and own all of us.

Why do you loathe Jewish people? After all they are the founders/perfectors of debt based banking. And if the Fed is abolished what are the Jewish bankers going to do? Well I guess we could always use more lawyers, doctors, sports and Hollywood agents, shitty comics, and liberal college professors. Am I joking or stereotyping? I'm joking.

Number one priority needs to be balancing the budget. No more deficit spending.

quote:

If you want to know who controls you just look at who you aren't allowed to criticize
That is an incorrect quote, attributed to Voltaire, who never said it. If you go down the rabbit hole and try to use it in a substantive argument, you are steered to the guy who most notably attributed it to Voltaire (on internet searches, anyway), some white supremacist whose name I don't remember and it doesn't matter. The real quote is:

quote:

"If you would know who controls you see who you may not criticize." - Tacitus, a Roman senator and philosopher.

The misquote is by design, locked and loaded in case someone high profile ever chose to quote this thought. It would then be "proven" that no, in fact it's fiction spread by mean ole white supremacists.

And yeah, it's the Jews.

Absolutely, we can't run our finances like the government or we go broke and file for bankruptcy but somehow the commercial banks with a little help from the central banks and Fed/government can just keep creating all this money/debt through fractional reserve banking.

As long as a bunch of people don't want their money the scam works...., ooops, that sounds a little like the equity markets doesn't it?

There is a book that everyone who is interested in the Fed and just why they were formed should read. It's free to download in a lot of places. Owning the hardback is better.

The Creature From Jekyll Island by G.Edward Griffin.

I tried to read it a few years ago but I kept looking for someone to choke so the wife made me put it away.

Well, if "Stan" gives it his thumbs up, I guess I'll have to give it a shot.
