For years the narrative has been conservatives were uneducated yokels with a million and one conspiracy theories who just didn't know what was good for them. They painted themselves as the political ideology of the highly educated and the beacon of rational thought.
Yet here we are, in 2016 with the left in a single unanimous chorus claiming that a state which uses paper ballots was rigged by Russian hackers. That another owned by democratic legislators in the state government managed to let Trump supporters fix their state.

Hell, there are zero OM victories that add up the the glee I had on 11/8 and 11/9.
Keep in mind that involves beating Alabama two years in a row.

It's important to note that the great postwar Conservative Intellectual Movement never had a serious competing liberal philosophical movement. There is no WFB or Russell Kirk of the Left, in a comprehensive philosophical sense. They are still busy tweaking Marx and trying to make that work in the 21st Century. And their focus has been strategy-based, not an organizing set of principles focused around existing American Constitutionalism.
