Something has to be done about NK. The last 3 administrations have failed and punted and now they are nearing a point to strike the US mainland. Then add that they export tech and weapons to the likes of Iran who would love to have one of their many terrorst proxies slip one in to the US so no state actor could be blamed and retaliated on.
I'm no war mongerer, but Kim needs to be removed. I'm hoping it's a secret decaptitation mission and not a shot is fired across the DMZ.
I think this is why China has moved troops to the border and the Vinson carrier group is headed there. Just in case it gets a little ugly. But it don't think anyone is planning outright war. Maybe the US shoots down one of their ICBM tests.
Oddly enough, the Trump may have more latitude against NK than he did against Syria. NK is legitimately a national security threat to the US.
