Let me guess, he only writes memos when he is trying to take down a political enemy of the Clintons, not when he is engaged in criminal acts covering for them.

Why would there be one? They aren't "James Comey's notes on political stuff" they're "notes of meetings Comey attended"

Been waiting for this. If the Left wants to go full tilt on these bogus investigations (100% certainty the ballot boxes were not hacked) then the Right needs to go full tilt on the HRC investigation. Let Assange blow the lid off the Democratic Party for life by dropping the Seth Rich bomb and lets see the files from Rich's computer.

Actually, this is probably true. However, if the FBI investigated the Clinton/Lynch meeting then there should be some documentation to go after. If there was no investigation then that really looks bad. Would have the appearance that someone obstructed an investigation or tried to cover it up.

So exactly what criminal acts did he engage in when covering for the Clintons?
Comey could have shut up and said nothing and the AG would have then just announced that the investigation had been closed.

Agreed. This will not look good for Comey and the FBI. Add that to not interviewing Hillary under oath, not recording the interview, and Comey admitting that he didn’t personally get briefed by the agents that interviewed her.

Yep - if he had done the "right" thing procedurally, then this is what would have happened.
Even if he was going to recommend indictment, he should not have gone thru the laundry list of mis-deeds. That is for the grand jury = which of course there never would have been one empaneled.
I came to be convinced Comey did what he could do to set the record straight on the Clinton e-mail and let the public decide in the election what to do about it. IF he had followed protocol, there would have never been a single peep about any of that, ever.
His conduct lately has made me take him down a peg or two on my pedestal. But he is only human and Trump has been so vile and petty and overboard in his smear campaign against him. Again, Trump should have just fired him and then s.t.f.u. about it.
alas - we can never expect Trump to act like an adult. He is digging his own grave with his childish rhetoric.

So you don't think he had meetings with people running the Clinton investigation and that they did not discuss that Billy/Loretta meeting? Do you think Comey didn't meet with Lynch? Do you think this was never discussed by those two?
