After this book came out I saw a lot of what was in it in the news.
This book claims that Obama spoke with Comey several times about HRC's scandals. As well as used Lynch to make sure she does not get indicted. The Lynch/WJC tarmac plane meeting was not about grandbabies.
At first Obama was going to let it all roll with whatever was found and he saw she was stuck and Biden wouldn't run so he gave the order to let HRC skate.

I'll grant you that if Comey had been more evenhanded in his handling of the Email "scandal" and the far more serious Russian interference investigation we likely have a different President right now.
