True. I have to pay bullshite fees to maintain my license to practice medicine, property taxes on my clinic etc. I could protest and decline to pay them, but I wouldn't be shocked when they show up to take my shite and shut me down.
When I'm older and don't give a shite, I may challenge them. Maybe that's what he's doing.

This dove tails with another thread on the board about the lady that had her fed and state tax return taken because Social Security might have made an over payment to her mom one month 38 years ago.

That's funny... others here have stated "frick the government", insinuated that Obama has instituted a police state, have openly wished for another Waco, have applauded a confrontation from militia groups.... mine was sarcasm and theirs was real and yet I'M out of line.

While I don't agree with the way the FEDs are handling this, the land in question has always been federal land. Mr. Bundy and his family have been grazing their cattle and profiting off of federal land for three generations. They did not purchase the land; they paid fees for the government to support his ranch. Both sides of this are bad big government. They made a living off of basically farm subsidies for three generations. When he didn’t like the way the BLM was using his money he stopped paying the agreed upon fee. So since it was federal land and he was no longer paying the FEDs told him to get off the land. Sorry but the FEDs are right in this even if they are going about it all wrong.

How so? The great Grandfather, Grandfather, and now Father all had agreements with to use the federal land for grazing. It's fact stated by the family. So how is that a bull shite statement?
