The threat has been an obvious fake, by the simple fact that none of these packages was ever going to harm anyone. Doesn't mean it not a crime. It's an attempt to terrorize people.

Yea, I don't trust a news organization that let an employee open a suspicious package, see it looked like a bomb, place it on their desk, and take pictures of it.
