Remove arbitrary gun free zones and elect a governor who isn't a moron. Stop pretending that guns are the problem. Recognize that you can't stop everyone.

How would removal of a gun free zone and a change in mayor have practically stopped this guy? You’re offering political nonsense. There was no stopping this. If you’re a 2A absolutist this is a cost we have to acknowledge with the understanding overall violent crime has been on the decline until this recent bump up.

I’m not a cop. Pretty sure they can haul you to jail for it, or some other bullshite, disturbing the peace, etc. I can’t imagine cops not taking a good hard look at you for it. Some people mean it, you know?

Not mayor. Governor. At least be accurate if you're going to disagree.

With red flag laws they invariably take your shite before you get to defend yourself in court. Big difference. Huge difference.

I guess you’re just going to make things up as we go inventing laws allowing the state to take property or liberty. Mine has due process! Those ones don’t!

I asked from the beginning a practical way for cops to stop this you offered application of red flag laws that involve an unacceptable deprivation of rights then you pivot to the gov and gun free zones…you’re not following the thread.

Incorrect. You asked what police should have done within the scope of what they are able to do. I provided an accurate description of their options under state law (which you were wrong about).

Then you asked what else, and I gave you what else. Not sure how that's a pivot on my part. Oh, and you completely missed half of my previous post. I know this because you made the same point I made, like it was something new.

How do you pass a fricking background check and get an automatic rifle

I mean what’s the fricking purpose for background checks? To not give access to people like this fricking guns.

I acknowledged that, and asked outside of red flag laws which are not accepted by this board what is broadly, practically acceptable….the point I was making is this was wholly unpreventable without extreme state interference and I can find no fault with the cops for not pre-criming this dipshit.

Maybe your continuing the argument for jo reason.

Right. So how is that me pivoting?

All of which I've already said, and before you did, if you'll take a look at the conversation.

I'm not willing to let it go unchecked when you claim I've done things I haven't done.

Liberals would have you believe that if the cops interviewed the gun instead of Crimo himself, this would have prevented. After all, they think guns kill people.

I must have missed something somewhere. I have yet to hear the first RFL proposal anywhere that doesn’t violate due process. I guess I’ll go back and look for yours.

Yeah, not seeing any proposal from you other than saying I was talking about institutionalizing the person.
