Supreme Court won’t let WV segregate teams by sex.

Short story: WV passed law segregating kids’ sports teams by sex. After a trial, the federal district court upheld the law. The (very) liberal 4th Circuit entered an injunction pending appeal barring the law from taking effect, without explaining why. WV appealed to the Supreme Court to lift the injunction so the law can go into effect. Supreme Court denied relief, with only Thomas and Alito dissenting.
How’s that conservative court working out for everyone?

They didnt rule on the validity of the law so i'm sure there is some stupid technicality as to why the injunction should stay.

that's not really the final ruling on the matter though? That's just SCOTUS saying they wont reverse the injunction by the lower court.....which will only be in place until the appeal is decided.

We should just stay every law until courts have decided whether we can actually have them, right? Especially when courts don’t tell us why they are enjoining them.

Every thing they rule on isnt going to be 100% what you want, and if that is what you expect, then my advice is to stay out of politics as much as you possibly can.
Also, one ruling doesnt make it a non-conservative court.

Recruit 1,000 dads to have their sons go out for the girls basketball team as soon as football ends. Carpet bomb a sport with how silly this is. Then do the same with track and field.
People need to be exposed to how stupid this is and how unfair it is to girls and young women. The courts need to start thinking about them rather than some figs who want to glorify their mental illnesses.

When your enemies control the courts the law is whatever they say it is.

In two more summer Olympics over half the women’s medals will go to biological men.

That's a click bait misleading headline. This was a procedural decision on an emergency injunction on enforcement of the law issued by the lower court. The merits of the case are still before the Court of Appeal, and may well make it to the Supreme Court next. This trend, if not put to a stop, will destroy women's sports.

Exactly this. Too bad the women's playoffs didn't have a single man playing on any of the women's teams.

WASHINGTON—The Supreme Court rejected West Virginia’s emergency request to bar a 12-year-old transgender girl from competing on her middle school’s girls’ track team while litigation over the relevant state’s law proceeds in lower courts.

Don't lie. SCOTUS denied the emergency request, and made no ruling whatsoever on the merits of the case.
Lying just makes the entire right seem uneducated and incapable of nuanced thought.

If I were in charge of that school I would defy the order and let them charge me with contempt. Let the tranny's family sue me. Make a huge spectacle of it.

Sadly Gorsuch already showed his cards on being pro-trans. Why we are seeing the push as he gave them a green light not to long ago.
Barrett on the other hand is a new disappointment.

Random question....will private leagues be able to get started up that start off specifically saying they are only going with biological sexes?
It can potentially create leagues for parents that want it and just take kids out of the school teams which will hurt them financially. Can be good to go along with the home schoolers too.

Explain why you think this ruling leads you to the conclusions from your post.

Therefore not letting them do it now while the case continues. Ie...your tranny kid can play with girls in the mean time.
