Stuff I Need a Photo ID For

The wife and I refinanced our home equity line yesterday. The closing attorney needed a copy of our IDs. I asked him why and he said it was because of the Patriot Act. Huh?
It got me thinking about all the things I need my state issued photo ID for:
1. Buying alcohol
2. Buying cigarettes
3. Buying a firearm
4. Refinancing a home
5. Boarding an airplane
6. Driving a motor vehicle
And those are just a few. I'm sure there are many more.
I'll tell you what...... I'll agree to not make anyone produce a photo ID to vote, if you'll agree to not make me produce a photo ID for anything else.

I bought Mucinex DM and NightQuil Extreme at WalMart the other day and had to show photo ID.
Last year, I bought a can of compressed air, to clean my keyboard, at Target and had to show photo ID.
P.S. I am almost 70. Obviously not a kid.
