State of Louisiana still making business difficult for local breweries

Our government has the most asinine rules around breweries and alcohol in general. The fact we still have blue laws here in Texas is a joke.

If I am not mistaken this is pretty standard in other states with breweries. They all solve the problem here in Virginia by placing food trucks they own in the outside parking lot. Correct me if I'm wrong though

Most governments operate under the premise that you can do anything you want, unless it's specifically not allowed.

Government only responds to squeeky wheels and money. I could not agree more that tap houses should be allowed to operate as they and their customers see fit BUT big breweries don't like them and they have money....and restaurants probably don't care for them either because they have to jump through hoops as a restaurant to keep a license to sale that tap houses get by without meeting.
I went to one in Missoula Montanna (Big Sky Brewery...if you are in the area go....I was there on a football weekend fishing and the town is THE BOMB!!!). They give away beer at this tap house....limit of 4 per customers, and not just the little bitty samples but at least a 12 oz glass...in a real glass....and of course sale growlers for off site consumption. The tap house is only open a few hours a day and they have a concert venue in the back (also saw Black Berry Smoke from Atlanta that weekend...GOOD weekend...one of the best I ever had in a college town that wasn't named Athens and in Georgia!!!).
On a side note I lost my truck while at the concert (they were selling beer during the show LOL) and I walked around the corner of the brewery and thought for a moment that I had stepped on a skunk...and then my eyes adjusted to the street lighting on that side of the building and on the lot adjacent to the brewery there was at least 20 pot plants growing right out in the open without a soul around them....I have no idea why or how but they were there big as life....I pointed them out to a bunch of passes by and we all marvelled at them being just right there....and apparently no one stole them or the police didn't do anything about it....anyway, neat town....and good fishing on our own!!

At least in NYC breweries are breweries and serve as little or as much food as they want to.

Same here in Florida. Laws passed to hurt the small breweries selling growlers. AB and other large corps are losing business to local brew houses and paying politicians to help.

Id like to see how much the good local breweries chip from AB. I would imagine its not a ton, the average person is pretty stupid when it comes to beer.
Georgia is actually going the opposite way of la. It has stupid laws but they are being peeled back here. They recently started allowing breweries to actually sell their beer on property.

This is such bs, totally orchestrated by the big beer companies to crush competition. Has nothing to do with anything but using government and lobbying to kill small competitors. Corruption. That's all this is. Corruption. And it's been going on for 20 years.

In St. Bernard we have a cool little brewery, 40 Arpent. I like to go hang out in their taproom in my rare free time. They don't bottle/can much, though.
Plenty, plenty of Bud Light all throughout Da Parish. Trust me, AB ain't losing much here.
