I was just telling some of you last night that Starbucks is headed for a fall. Serves the left-wing CEO right. He is apparently too dumb to realize that most of the country isn't dysfunctionally insane like their HQ in Seattled.

Their coffee is overrated IMO, always tastes burnt. They definitely make good espresso drinks but they're expensive as hell. I'll go once in a blue moon but I can make a better cup of coffee at home.

I have a $10 gift card to Starbucks. I'm going to buy a coffee a day for 5 days and drop the full cup each day on the floor.

I'm included in the downturn, but wasn't in the upturn either...so there's that.

Don't drink $5 coffee.

I have the same. May go take a shite on the floor or something while I'm at it. Make some liberal mop it up.

I'll be curious to see what their latest quarterly earnings come out to be.

So what exactly is your issue with the refugee hiring announcement?

It clearly states "WORLDWIDE."

And besides, in the United States, even with last year's increase Muslim refugee, 46% were Muslim and 44% were Christian, the time there are fewer since 2006. 2016 Refugee Data

And since 2002, there have been about 400,000 Christian refugees (46%), compared to about 280,000 Muslim refugees (32%).

So even if it was in the US, why would you have a problem with hiring refugees since there are far more Christian refugees than anybody else?

Well I doubt there will be much impact, and if there is, in our forgetful society I doubt it's persists.

But I'm glad KCT actually used a timely article to support his point. Last night posted a 2009 article (the copyright said 2017) when Starbucks had large losses and cut about 7000 jobs.

It's ironically very similar to the SJW mentality.

jokes on them for hiring refugees, hard to sell coffee when your employees are attacking your customers and destroying the store
