I just voted for Montgomery after seeing a couple of people I know holding up Trainor signs.

Just out of curiosity, why do some of y'all not like Strain?

IMO it's not about disliking Strain, it's about not wanting one of the highest parish offices to be controlled or open to influence by another.

I have heard somethings about him that are kind of sleazy. I don't really trust him. I wouldn't be surprised if he is implicated in a scandal of some kind.

I'm calling the race officially for Montgomery right now. Don't see Trainor making up the difference.

1000% worse than Walter Reed. If you think Reed has really bad backroom deals you need to examine the Strain family.

No the polling stats which show a 10% spread in favor of Montgomery.

Its official Montgomery has come from nowhere and beaten the St. Tammany establishment. There will be a massive change at the DAs office now including major turnover.

Montgomery ran a really strong campaign. He showed up at my mom's house when she was hosting a DAR meeting. After 20 minutes every woman in there was ready to vote and campaign for him.

That was the conversation we had several weeks back - he always, always, made a good impression and got good feedback when he met with people in person, it was just a question whether there was enough time to make the rounds and of course, the robot voters from the machine.

Anything that reduces the influence of the Reed and Strain network is a very good thing for the citizens of St. Tammany Parish.
