Do people still watch sports in here? Personally, I have not watched anything in over a year and a half. Most people in my circles have either completely written it off or occasionally watch.

They express that they just got sick of being told how to live their lives by athletes and leagues. They also were sick of being told that the way they thought/lived their lives was to blame for all the ills in society.

I am wondering if this board thinks this continues and grows and if so does it or can it really affect the leagues that much, or do people eventually cave. Myself, I have found other things to occupy my time and found I wasted a sh!tload of time watching sports. Don't believe I would ever return.

Not pros. Only college and even that has lost luster this last year. Fans should be at games.

I'm the same way. UFC is all I have left now. Don't think that's gonna change either. Dana White is big time MAGA.

I watch LSU football and thats it. I rarely even turn on the TV to watch anything else anymore, nothing but lies being spewed by news stations and hollywood.

I have only started to watch LSU baseball this year since the politicization of sports really took hold last spring.

I only watch college football. Not just LSU. About 6 games each Sat. But I find myself turning the sound off. I can tell what's going on and I don't want to hear the announcers doing social justice.

I only tune in sports nowadays if I need a sleep aid. Baseball, golf, etc. might as well be Ambien or at least Melatonin.

If I wanted to watch guys dancing I'd watch Dancing With the Stars instead of football. Neither of which appear on my TV's btw.

Haven't watched basketball since Charles Barkley was a player for Philadelphia.

College only and some golf (always watch Masters).

Didn’t watch much this year. Sucks without fans and the virtue signaling is too much.

Politics has become the new sports for a lot of people on both sides.

Watch UFC sometimes, most LSU football games and NFL on and off. I literally don't care about LSU basketball or baseball for some reason anymore and I don't know why. I just can't get into it anymore.

Done with MLB and NBA forever, which is easy because I never really cared that much for them anyway.

I enjoy my life much better now that I'm not obsessed over watching sports all the time.

Every college basketball broadcast is the same.

You get bombarded with Black Lives Matter commercials from corporations, the conference of the teams playing, and sometimes even from the school itself.

Then you have multiple commercial break comebacks where the play by play guy highlights a player or group of players or coach on one of the teams who is fighting hard for racial justice. Then the color commentator chimes in, you can tell he is ultra obligated and forced to do so, with some bare minimum comment like "Yeah this is really great..."

It's bad.
