Focusing on the source rather than the message .Who gives a flying frick where he got the shite from. Looks like the playbook for this stuff to get swept under the rug. Didn't we just witness this with Hillary? Focus on the source of her leaks i.e. blame Russia , then just ignore contents and move along as if nothing happened .

On a somewhat related note, Obama certainly has been quiet. For someone who said he was going to stay in the limelight, I figured he would've already fought back aggressively against the accusation that he was surveilling the Trump team.
