For the same reason your reflex is to say Christianity, or to call your first born by a siblings name.. for the first part of his life, even if he wasn't a practicing Muslim, he was around them all the time because his family was. Even if he wasn't, he would have had to say he was in order to fend off persecution. He then converts.. ish, his reflex is still going to be what he grew up saying.

Can we just stop and kill this thread please? When people say that Conservatives are dumb racists redneck hicks, they point to threads like this.
If you really dislike Obama, then you should say something like I disagree with the President because of this reason, that reason, and this reason over here, which just shows what a dumb arse he is. Rather than stupid crap like this.

Really, you do not say? Hmmmm. that is very intersesting. I had not considered that he was around many muslims early in his life.
So, if he was around mostly muslims in the early part of his life, as I was around christians in the early part of my life in LA, where did he spend the early part of his life.
This line of thinking is opening up some new possibilities.

He is a lousy president, though. We elected a guy with absolutely no leadership or executive experience. He listened to the political ideologues that got him elected and is executing the playbook. We didn't elect President Obama. We elected President Obama/Jarrett/Emanuel/Ayers.
He promised the most transparent administration ever. Of course, I don't think he had any idea that his appointees were going to be so dirty, or that all of his advisors were going to tell him to lie and spin everything for political advantage. How could he? He's never been in a position where he was privy to such classified information, let alone how to manage it.
In short, we elected a figurehead (twice) and the real president is the consortium of advisors and special interests groups that are the pulling the strings.

We debate reasons for policy here, but we also MOCK and deride LIARS on this forum, T. As both Art, and Sport; as a from of public humiliation meant to DISCREDIT AND NEUTRALIZE the power of individuals with power.
