I lived on Redstone and attended Butler High School Rebels back in the day. Donavants Mall ring a bell? Got my Eagle badge on base and fondly member many hikes up the mountain.

I live in North bammer and I never knew that redstone was 60 square miles in size and employs 40,000 people. The size of the Redstone workforce is larger than most cities in this state.
I have a friend that works there as well. It looks like almost everyone here either works there or knows someone who does.

Like I said, I might have gotten the nick wrong...but there was a guy here from Madison and I thought his nick was Bama and Beer....but I might be wrong...I met him at Subway for lunch one day in Madison by Walmarts on 20. This was several years ago....a few years back there was a RIP thread but I never got the full story on how he died.

OK...definitely not "Bama and Beer". My mistake. That poster is still active. I'll have to really look back for this guy's nick. I think it may have been before 2009 that this guy I'm talking about passed away.
