I got blasted for posting about the unusual rain we have had over the last few months--since November of last year.

I went and looked at the averages and the actual rainfall since November and it is complete bullshite. I know for certain we have had way more rain than normal and yet the numbers don't correspond? I've been telling people that our lake is the highest it has ever been from the months of November through February--heading into Spring season. I have been saying the rivers are rising--no one listens.

While sad, this is the wrong board to post this on. They deny climate change.

I'll be praying for the region, stay safe.

Someday they will build a great shining monument, and the grateful people shall come forward and sayeth, "It is because we listened to Reo45" and there will be peace and prosperity in the land.

Flooding never occurred before the recent climate cycle?

If you don't realize that it's only getting worse, then you need to wake up and smell what you're shoveling.

Being posted to Political Board, is this a result of POTUS Trump or a Democrat Minority thing?

I don't know what your problem is, but you have no clue what you are talking about.

We've had 8-9 inches of rain since the start of this year in Northwest La. That is our average.

I don't know if you know how rivers work, especially the Red River, but river floods occur from upstream events like we saw a couple of years ago with incredible rain on the Texas/Oklahoma border which is the main watershed for the Red in NW La.

Just stop.

Lots of people complaining here and rocking trump MAGA hats will gladly take the government handouts when their cribs get flooded.

Are you under the impression that all flooding is related to man made climate change?

Link? I live in Shreveport and can't claim to know anything about an unusual amount of rain. In fact, we're behind the yearly average for this point in the year.

Oh. So it's some kind of conspiracy. Raindrops that only you have the ability to see. Show us the truth brother.

He said in his OP that the official rainfall data doesn't match his stupid theory that it's raining like crazy.
