this is a stupid post on a ton of levels.
Maybe. But democrats have been doing that for decades and they fricking own everything, so being a party of pussies like Mitt Romney obviously isnt a workable plan either, is it? We tried that already.
One bill was the federal government attempting to seize control over 20% of the US economy. The other is a state bill to prevent sexual grooming in grades K-3. Melodramatic much?
Democrats doent even support Disney's position here. 55% of Florida dems support DeSantis's position as do over 50% of moderates and independents nationally. Even 42% of democrats nationally support this bill. And lets be real here, swing voters arent going to shun DeSantis for taking away a sweetheart tax break from one of the world's largest corporations. If dems had one ounce of integrity, they'd be happy about his.
I dont even know wtf you are trying to say here, but I feel like I need a shower.

Passing this bill and saying "well we have a year to figure out the details" is just as stupid as "we have to pass the bill so we know what is in it".

If DeSantis wants to be president, he's going to need more than the far-right to get elected. This is a huge error on his behalf. He looks small and vindictive here.

Also, it's obvious many on the left have no idea what "grooming" actually means. Hint: it's not making movies about tranny 14 year olds.
I mean... was Snow White about grooming kids? (kissing dead people)
Was Beauty and the Beast about grooming kids? (beastiality)
I dont even know wtf you are trying to say here, but I feel like I need a shower.

There was a lot of talk about Disney moving it’s HQ to Florida and in 2021 they moved a large group of execs out of California to Florida. Florida should be courting Disney not actively trying to kick them out.
It's kind of crazy to me to think that people like yourself value commerce over the safety and well being of children.

DeSantis should let the children of Florida be groomed and abused for a few more tax dollars.
In a nutshell, this is what the OP is saying.

It's not an effective business move to alienate the productive half of the country which are usually right leaning/moderate families that have kids. The number of single, underemployed, liberal, childless LBGTQIUTEBFKP+ are growing but long term it's not an effective strategy.

Well, that's just a dumb comparison.
In one example, the legal text already existed, and Congress voted on the text, but the details were kept from the public under lock and key. Essentially, the plan already existed and the public had no input.
In the other example, the government took step one to reverse prior legislation, but is incomplete, and officials will have to iron out the details in a public process. The plan doesn't exist and the public still has input.

I see you're not on board with the current narrative.
You've now been identified as a government-loving, liberal, pedo-groomer.
Good luck with that.
Remember, it's always a good idea to check with the board first before outing yourself. I understand it can get confusing when you think you're adhering to the small-government conservative ideology. A rule of thumb is that when the government is raising taxes on people with which you don't agree, big government is good.

I'm not so sure. Californians act as a collective and can't be broken down into individuals, so "less Californians" makes sense

Only a leftist could see removing a government sanctioned entity as being against small-government. Eliminating corporate welfare is now something the right should be vilified for. Can y’all pick a side of a topic and stick to it? All this evolving happens so quickly.

It’s amazing how everyone is carrying Disney’s water all of a sudden.
Liberal and MSM: Corporations need to pay their fair share!!
Also liberals and MSM: Except when it comes to our favorite pedo-grooming company. LEAVE THEM ALONE!!!

On the other hand, if you favor sweetheart tax/ governance deals for literally the world's biggest entertainment conglomerate, that makes you a friend of the working man liberal.
At least so long as that conglomerate wants to teach kindergarteners to be gender fluid.

You mean like not increasing regulations and taxes on business?
How hypocritical of you.
But you're just making my point, increased government regulation is good when it happens to a business with which you disagree.
