I said yesterday and will say it again.
I find it hard to get myself worked up over the abortion issues. I have never been a fan of Sasse but he is spot on with this one.
I must also confess I would roll my eyes a little at some of my friends who act as if abortion is the only issue on earth. Especially when they would point to partial birth abortions as some kind of argument as the logical extreme. I would just think to myself.
“Oh. Don’t be so dramatic. Really. How often is this a problem? Surely nobody thinks this is a good idea.”
I used to think that no American, particularly no American woman would actually advocate for late term abortion.
In the last 2 days. I’ve done a 180. I was so very wrong.
I’m so grossed out by that Asian chick, and apparently the mother of 4 children who is the Virginia legislator who acknowledged that unfettered killing of a baby in the birth canal isn’t prohibited or limited in any way. And the governor of the state who was previously a pediatrician (OMG HOW FOUL) who essentially would think it’s ok for a mother and doctor to decide to kill the child during delivery because the baby may have birth dedects. Holy shite. That is just inhumane. It’s unthinkable.
I have more than one person in my life who has lost a child and more than one who lost a baby in infancy. There’s not a one of them who would give up one minute with their baby or cut their baby’s short sweet life one minute shorter to save themselves some pain. I know not one of them who would make any different decision to have their child and hug him and love her as long as they could because they “knew” those babies were somehow defective and would die anyway.
This is inhuman. It’s foul. I have no words for any woman or doctor who could endorse it
or rationalize it.
It is sanctioned killing of the weakest and most defenseless among us. I hope these people burn in hell.

I said the other day that the left was pushing up to a line that very few wether they are pro choice or pro life want to cross. This dumbass Gov from VA didn't just brush up against the line, he blew straight over it.
